About Us
What is The Penguin Project?
The Penguin Project is an amazing theater program for ages 8-22 with and without developmental challenges. "Artists" are those with special needs and have the lines and roles in a show, and "mentors" guide and support them.
Why should I join?
You'll make friends, learn great songs and dances, become a better communicator, strengthen your confidence, and have a lot of fun!
When are rehearsals?
Rehearsals start about four months before a performance and run 2-3 times a week but can increase depending on your role once we get closer to the show. Specific times are determined on a show-by-show basis.
